The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of glass bonding technology on the
mechanical and aesthetic performance of aluminum door handles. The methodology includes
integrating glass onto a curved aluminum body using bonding technology and examining the
resulting hybrid structure's corrosion resistance and ergonomics. A significant aspect is the
rarity of this technology in the hardware sector, which facilitates total surface integrity. Main
findings show that bonding technology significantly increases product durability while
creating a continuous visual language with the door surface. Ultimately, this research offers
an alternative solution for architectural hardware designs by demonstrating that material
innovation can enhance structural resilience while presenting a minimal and contemporary
aesthetic.
